Cottesloe premier grade proved their conditioning and attitude by running down a tiring Kalamunda side and securing victory, 31 points to 24. Kalamunda deployed a typically enormous team and in the first twenty minutes they used their physical power to race out into an early lead.

In a bruising encounter, Cottesloe prems suffered their first reversal of the year against Palmyra by 43 points to 28. The pristine weather conditions were conducive to an open game of rugby with both sides looking to take each other in the wide spaces.

Our premier grade side followed on from the Reserves’ and Thirsty Third’s victories earlier in the day by winning a resounding victory versus the newly formed Cavaliers, 51 points to 14.

Cottesloe prems ran amuck on Saturday to secure their first win of the 2018 season away to Southern Lions. The newly promoted side were something of a mystery and as a result there was an air of trepidation as our guys entered the unknown

On Saturday, the club begins the 2018 season with an intriguing clash with newly promoted senior side, Southern Lions. Ian Fowler has of course taken the reins once more and training has been going very well.

This week we put our new VP Sam Diamond under the microscope. A quick glance at the honour boards would tell you that Sam is probably one of the youngest guys ever to  wear the shirt, but he has done a magnificent job so far. He has made the transition from club captain in 2017 to Vice President seamlessly. Every year he threatens to hang up the boots yet manages to find a way back onto the field and we suspect 2018 will be no different.
